This role involves examining and interpreting cellular alterations associated with various medical conditions. The candidate will prepare cell samples for microscopic analysis, including preparing smears and applying appropriate staining techniques. They will conduct microscopic evaluations of the slides to identify any cellular changes and summarize initial findings. These preliminary findings will be forwarded to the Pathologist for a conclusive diagnosis.
The position may require flexibility to take on assignments across different departments or locations within a designated area.

Qualifications
Completion of at least two (2) years of higher education coursework.
Graduation from an accredited Cytotechnology program.
Valid state certification as a cytotechnologist.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cytotechnology.
Successful completion of proficiency testing under applicable regulatory standards.
