Join an advanced histocompatibility laboratory that supports life-saving transplant procedures through highly complex testing. We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist to work on the front lines of HLA antibody identification and crossmatching in a fast-paced, high-complexity environment.
Perform crucial testing for transplant evaluations, including deceased donor workups
Troubleshoot high-complexity instrumentation and assay issues
Serve as a technical resource for your team, training and mentoring newer staff
Participate in lab projects, quality control assessments, and SOP documentation
Receive advanced training if you’re new to HLA—we’re committed to helping you grow
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS by an accredited agency
Licensure as a CLS or CHS (or eligibility for one of these licensures in CA)
3+ years of clinical lab experience required; HLA or histocompatibility experience is a strong plus
Previous experience in a reference lab and/or supervisory role preferred
Ability to critically analyze, synthesize, and troubleshoot results in a high-complexity setting
Strong collaboration and communication skills in a regulated lab environment
