Responsibilities
Prepare samples, perform DNA extraction, and carry out PCR procedures
Perform both manual and electronic pipetting with precision on small sample volumes
Operate advanced laboratory instruments, including automated systems such as the Hamilton Vantage, KingFisher Flex, VeritiPro, and QuantStudio 12K and 5
Work collaboratively with laboratory management and team members to maintain efficiency, resolve issues, and foster continuous improvement
Qualifications
Availability for overnight shifts (Sunday to Thursday 4×10) & (Monday – Friday)
At least one year of experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory setting (or as required by local regulations)
Solid understanding of sterile techniques, contamination control, and efficient workflow processes specific to molecular labs
Familiarity with molecular biology techniques, including experience with micropipettes
Preferred certification from ASCP, AMT, or an equivalent organization
