Director, Business Development (IVF)

Location: Georgia, Atlanta   |   Work Location: On-site   |   Contract Type: Full-Time   |   Job Category: IVF Specialty   |   Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000

Our client is seeking a highly driven and strategic leader to serve as Director of Business Development. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity for a self-starter to help shape and define a high-impact function at one of the most respected names in the reproductive health industry. The ideal candidate brings a blend of entrepreneurial mindset, strategic foresight, and operational discipline to lead both our business development and marketing efforts.

Reporting directly to the President, the Director will be instrumental in expanding our global footprint, deepening relationships with clinics and partners, and elevating our brand across markets.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategic Growth

  • Establish and execute strategies to expand domestic and international business opportunities.
  • Identify, initiate, and build relationships with fertility clinics, distribution partners, and key influencers.
  • Design and implement a scalable and measurable approach to lead generation and sales growth.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the President on new markets, trends, and opportunities.
  • Represent Domestic and International Trade Show events

Relationship Management & Sales Leadership

  • Develop and nurture long-term partnerships with clinics, physicians, and fertility networks.
  • Structure and oversee account management practices to ensure ongoing engagement and retention.
  • Represent in a polished and professional manner, always aligning with our mission and values.

Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Leverage digital tools, customer data, and market research to drive targeted outreach and awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage creative development, campaigns, and performance analytics.

Team Development & Operational Leadership

  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting structures to measure success and drive accountability.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between business development, marketing, and client services.

Regulatory & Industry Knowledge

  • Maintain expertise in domestic and international regulations impacting the reproductive tissue industry.
  • Assist with clinic audits and ensure that all materials and activities align with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor competitor landscape and provide regular insights to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in business development and/or marketing within healthcare, fertility, or biotech
  • Deep knowledge of the reproductive health industry and international regulatory environments
  • Proven success in building strategic partnerships and leading high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and take ownership of results
