Medical Director – Reproductive Medicine (Stamford, CT)

IVF Connect is thrilled to invite a passionate and compassionate Reproductive Medicine/OB-GYN MD to join our client’s dynamic fertility clinic team. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert medical care to individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood, offering both cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic services. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and manage reproductive and infertility issues with precision and care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing the latest fertility treatments and technologies, including medications, surgeries, and Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) such as IVF.
  • Perform ART procedures, including ovulation induction, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and intrauterine inseminations (IUI).
  • Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatments as necessary to maximize success rates.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including embryologists, nurses, and counselors, to deliver holistic care.
  • Stay current with advancements in reproductive medicine through continuing education and active engagement in research.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Educate patients about fertility issues, treatment options, and lifestyle changes that may improve their reproductive health.

Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor (MD) degree from accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility
  • Valid license to practice in the United States
  • Proficiency in performing ART procedures, including IVF, ICSI, and embryo transfer.
