Conducting daily clinical tasks in the IVF laboratories, such as ICSI, PGT biopsies, cryopreservation, and thawing of embryos and oocytes.
Thoroughly documenting all laboratory procedures in written and computerized formats, including clinical embryology and andrology procedures, equipment monitoring, media and supply testing, and cryostorage of embryos and sperm.
Demonstrating proficiency in basic embryology and andrology procedures required for In Vitro Fertilization.
Independently performing cryopreservation and thawing of embryos at different stages of development.
Preparing fresh and thawed embryos for intrauterine transfer.
Demonstrating expertise in advanced micromanipulation techniques such as Embryo Biopsy and ICSI.
Ensuring compliance with documentation requirements related to patient confidentiality, informed consent, laboratory safety, and reporting standards set by the Connecticut Department of Health, SART, ASRM, and FDA.
Monitoring equipment, reagents, media, and work environment to maintain quality control standards.
