A leading fertility center is seeking a Senior Embryologist to join their growing reproductive medicine program. This role involves performing advanced assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures while contributing to the lab’s quality management, research, and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both embryology and andrology, along with a passion for delivering excellent patient outcomes.
Perform diagnostic semen analyses, including morphology and anti-sperm antibody testing
Conduct sperm preparation (density gradient, swim-up, simple wash) for IVF and IUI
Carry out sperm cryopreservation for backup and storage
Participate in oocyte retrievals, denuding, ICSI, and fertilization assessments
Culture embryos to the blastocyst stage, assess embryo morphology, and assist with embryo transfers
Perform cryopreservation of oocytes and embryos via vitrification and subsequent warming for FET
Execute embryo biopsy procedures for PGT-A/PGT-M
Maintain and monitor liquid nitrogen storage for gametes and embryos
Document all procedures and outcomes using an IVF lab database and SART systems
Ensure compliance with laboratory quality control protocols and equipment maintenance
Collaborate in lab research and development initiatives under the direction of the Lab Director
Bachelor’s degree in a biological science or related field (required)
Minimum 5 years of clinical embryology experience (required)
Proficiency in ART lab procedures including ICSI, embryo culture, vitrification, biopsy, and andrology
Strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills
Familiarity with lab information systems and quality assurance standards
