A full-time opportunity for a skilled Senior Embryologist with expertise in Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) and assisted reproductive technologies. This role supports daily laboratory operations including semen preparation, embryo culture, cryopreservation, and ICSI procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, efficiency, and a commitment to lab standards and safety.
Perform ICSI with a high level of technical accuracy in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
Prepare laboratory environment and equipment for optimal oocyte, sperm, and embryo handling.
Organize and anticipate materials required for ICSI and related lab procedures.
Conduct calibration and routine maintenance of lab equipment including incubators, laminar flow hoods, and micromanipulation systems.
Prepare culture dishes and media following strict protocol guidelines.
Assist in embryo loading procedures while ensuring embryo viability.
Execute all stages of vitrification, including warming and post-warming assessment.
Maintain accurate records of biological material inventory, including labeling, storage, and traceability.
Generate detailed production and procedural reports.
Ensure compliance with lab safety standards and best practices.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Animal Science, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
Demonstrated experience with ICSI and embryo handling in a laboratory setting.
Previous work in a biotechnology, fertility, or assisted reproduction environment preferred.
Proficient with basic computer tools including Excel and email systems.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Exceptional hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Familiarity with laboratory SOPs and production workflows.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator and collaborative team member.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
